Pleasant, 25 September 1811

The Pleasant, Master Gibson, of Whitehaven, from Ayr to Cork, was driven on shore on Wednesday night. Crew saved’.[1]

On Wednesday evening last, about half past 8 o’clock, the brig Pleasant, John Gibson, master, was wrecked at the Islands of Keane, but we are happy to be enabled to add, the crew, consisting of six persons, were all saved. She was from Air, in Scotland, bound to Cork, with a cargo of coals.
