The
sloop Clyde, from this port to Glasgow, Joseph Russell, master, laden with wheat
and flour, has been driven ashore in Tramore Bay, early on Saturday night last
and abandoned by the crew. On account of the heavy sea and stormy weather it
was found impossible to board her. When the weather moderates it is expected
that part of the cargo will be saved.[1]
