Last Thursday, about 11 o’clock,
a small boat appeared in Tramore Bay, with two men in her;- the sea was so
rough, that it was impossible to afford them any assistance from shore, and
about 12 o’clock the boat upset and was drove on shore in the evening. Next
morning the two men were found drowned between Tramore and Newtown Head. They
had no papers about them, nor was there any mark on the boat that could tell
who or where she belonged to.[1]
